Nidal Z. Zayed
President & CEO
Nidal Z. Zayed is the President and CEO of Pernix International, where he has served since 1996. With a J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, he has extensive experience in litigation, international business law, and global transactions.
Since becoming CEO in 2005, Nidal has led Pernix's strategic direction, overseeing corporate activities with a commitment to excellence.
Bill Steckel
Chief Financial Officer
William (Bill) Steckel is the CFO of Pernix Group, bringing over three decades of experience as a Senior Finance Leader in Construction, Manufacturing and Business Services. Bill brings significant financial and operational experience in global companies and was the CFO of Great Lakes Dredge and Dock, a global provider of marine construction, demolition and site preparation as well as remediation and site services to government and private customers around the world.
Bill’s expertise includes accounting, finance, human resources, IT, legal, risk management procurement and operations. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Iowa State University and an MBA from Western Illinois University. Bill also passed the CPA exam and is currently pending renewal of his license in Indiana and Illinois.
